HUMIDITY INDICATOR ON THE FRONT
This dehumidifier is equipped with an intelligent humidity display on the front, which gives the user an immediate visual indication. The front LEDs will change color to indicate the current humidity level.

The color of the LED may vary as the dehumidifier takes in new air.

Blue light – humidity > 70%

Green light – humidity: 50 – 70%

Rødt lys – luftfuktighet < 50%

USE

  1. Connect the dehumidifier to a suitable outlet, 220 ~ 240V, 50Hz.
  2. Open the air damper on the top of the dehumidifier.

This is absolutely necessary – do not unplug the power cord until the fan has stopped.

Safety recommendations

  • Place the dehumidifier in an upright position on a stable, flat surface.
  • Make sure the device is a safe distance from walls, curtains or furniture.
  • Keep clothes at least 30cm away from the air inlet and outlet to prevent water from dripping into the unit.
  • Make sure the tank is properly installed, if the tank is full or not in place, the “Full” light will come on, an alarm will sound and the dehumidifier will turn off.
  • It is important that the air damper on the top is opened before the dehumidifier is put into operation.

Maintenance

Always disconnect the dehumidifier from the mains and wait at least one hour before carrying out maintenance or cleaning.

The service interval depends mainly on the operating conditions and working environment.

Air filterMaintenance
Pre-filterClean every 2 weeks or as needed. Must be cleaned more often if the air contains a lot of dust.
HEPA filterReplace after 6 months of use or as needed. Must be replaced more often if the air contains a lot of dust.
Carbon filterReplace after 6 months of use or as needed. Must be replaced more often if the air contains a lot of dust.
  • CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER

Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush head to clean the pre-filter. If the filter is particularly dirty, you can rinse it in warm water and gently scrub it with a dishwashing brush.

Make sure the filter is completely dry before putting it back into the machine.

  • CLEAN AIR FILTERS ARE IMPORTANT!

This dehumidifier has three air filters:

1. Pre-filter that should be vacuumed frequently . A clean air filter is important to ensure good drying performance and low power consumption. Most problems with a drying rotor-based dehumidifier are caused by poor cleaning. It is therefore important to ensure clean air filters. Never use the dehumidifier without a pre-filter. In normal use, the pre-filter should not be replaced and should last the entire life of the appliance.

2. HEPA filter to be replaced . The HEPA filter provides additional protection for the dehumidifier. It also purifies the air, thereby contributing to bedre inneklima and better health. Feel free to use the HEPA filter in combination with the dehumidifier's ionization for optimal effect. The HEPA filter can be vacuumed occasionally, but should eventually be replaced. The dehumidifier can be used without a HEPA filter, but we recommend always using a HEPA filter to give the dehumidifier a longer life and to give you bedre inneklima .

3. Carbon filter to be replaced . This dehumidifier also has a carbon filter to reduce odors. The carbon filter can be used in combination with the HEPA filter, or without the HEPA filter. The carbon filter will not remove particles from the air, but will help reduce bad odors in the room. Use the carbon filter in combination with the dehumidifier's ionization for optimal effect. If the dehumidifier or filter will not be used for a while, we recommend wrapping it in plastic to preserve the effect for as long as possible. When the carbon filter no longer has any effect, it should be replaced.

How often should air filters be replaced?
The interval for replacing air filters is entirely dependent on the air quality where the dehumidifier is located, and on how much the dehumidifier is running. The intervals for replacement are very individual. The intervals stated here are only an indication based on "normal" use.

  • Pre-filter: Vacuum every 14 days. Never replace.
  • HEPA filter: If the dehumidifier is used all year round, the HEPA filter should be replaced 2-3 times per year. If the dehumidifier is in a garage with a lot of dust or in a drying room / laundry room with a lot of textile particles, the filter can be replaced more often. Feel free to vacuum the filter to achieve a longer service life.
  • Carbon filter: The carbon filter absorbs odors, and the interval depends on how much odor is to be removed. If you do not have problems with odors, you do not need to change the carbon filter. The carbon filter is replaced when it loses its effect, and we recommend changing the carbon filter at the same interval as the HEPA filter, i.e. after each season or 2 – 3 times per year.
  • WHERE SHOULD YOU PLACE THE DEHUMIDIFIER?

For best results, the dehumidifier should be placed in a central location such as a hallway or corridor. As long as the interior doors are open, the moisture will naturally move towards the dehumidifier.

To dry clothes, it is best to place the dehumidifier in a small room. Close the door and windows, use the dehumidifier in the “Dry” mode. Hang the clothes so that they do not touch each other and so that air can circulate between them. Make sure that water does not drip onto the dehumidifier.

It is important that the dehumidifier is not placed in rooms with a lot of dust. It is an advantage if the dehumidifier is placed above the floor.

⚠️ Are you experiencing an abnormal odor?

When using the dehumidifier, you may notice an odor coming from the dehumidifier for a period of time. This is caused by the zeolite desiccant mixing with chemicals in your home and is not a sign that there is anything wrong with the dehumidifier. The odor is not harmful to humans or animals. The odor occurs because the zeolite absorbs odors from the air where it is located from items such as cigarettes, cosmetics, hairspray, building materials and new furniture. These chemicals are mixed together in the dryer rotor and when the desiccant is heated, the odor will be released into the room. This odor has been described by some as a burnt or sour odor. This is normal and will not last long, and is not a sign of a malfunction. You may be able to remove the odor by running the dehumidifier in, for example, a room without odors or under cover outdoors under supervision.

Water quantity

When you use the dehumidifier, it will work to reduce the humidity in the room to the level you select. This is when it will produce the most water and will need to be emptied most often. As the room becomes drier, the dehumidifier will collect less water and take longer to fill the tank. This is completely normal. When the relative humidity is reached, the dehumidifier will stop collecting water.

If you still have condensation on your windows, or you want to dry the air further, you can set the relative humidity lower. This may be necessary if you have single windows or if the outside temperature drops below freezing.

Even if the dehumidifier is set to clothes drying mode, it will reach a point where there will be no water to dry because the air is too dry. The air will become uncomfortable (around 38%).

Operating the dehumidifier

  • FAN SPEED
    Button 6.
The fan speed can be adjusted in three steps:
  1. SLEEP : The dehumidifier will run at low fan speed and low heat, therefore the unit is quieter. If the humidity in the room is lower than the set value, it will run at low fan speed, no heat. Note! In sleep mode, the humidity indicator on the front panel will not light.

  2. NORM : The dehumidifier will run at medium fan speed and high heat. If the humidity in the room is lower than the set value, it will run at medium fan speed, no heat.

  3. TURBO : The dehumidifier will run at high fan speed and high heat. If the humidity in the room is lower than the set value, it will run at high fan speed, no heat.
  • “AUTO” MODE
    Button 4.
If you want the machine to regulate itself based on the ambient air conditions, we recommend using this mode.
  • Humidity above 70%: The dehumidifier works in TURBO mode.
  • Humidity between 55% and 70%: The dehumidifier works in SLEEP mode.
  • Humidity lower than 55%: The dehumidifier stops for 30 minutes before checking the humidity in the room again. If the humidity rises above 55%, it will start again.
  • CLOTHES DRYER
    Button 8.

Pre-programmed setting: 40% RH, high fan speed and high heating output.

This mode is ideal for drying clothes. The dehumidifier will dehumidify for 8 hours with the humidity set to 40% before resting for 30 minutes. After this, it will again check the humidity in the room. If it is above 40%, the dehumidifier will dehumidify for a further 8 hours before repeating the process. If the humidity is below 40%, the dehumidifier will rest for 30 minutes before checking the humidity again. The LED above the button is lit when clothes drying is selected. During this mode, the fan speed is always on high.

  • HUMIDITY

Button 9

Set the humidity level you want:

CO (continuous), 40%, 50%, 60% or 70%.

The set level will be displayed on the LED panel.

⚠️ Important!

After 8 hours of continuous dehumidification, the dehumidifier will rest for 30 minutes before starting again. If the desired humidity is not set, the unit will operate with the default setting: 50% / low fan speed and low heat. For safety reasons, the dehumidifier will stop automatically after dehumidifying for 8 hours. After 30 minutes, it will start again and repeat this cycle.

If continuous dehumidification mode and humidity is lower than 35%, the dehumidifier will dehumidify for 15 minutes, rest for a few minutes and repeat this cycle if the humidity does not rise.

If the temperature is higher than 36 degrees, the heating element will turn off and the fan will run to control the humidity and temperature.

At humidity setting: 40%, 50%, 60% or 70%, the dehumidifier will stop automatically after 8 hours, regardless of whether the humidity setting has been reached or not. After resting for 30 minutes, it will continue to dehumidify again and repeat this cycle.

When the dehumidifier is at rest, it will still show the humidity on the display, but you will not get a correct measurement until the fan starts again after the rest period.

OFF/ON

Button 11 .

When you press this button, the dehumidifier will turn on and off.

The indicator light (indicator 10) lights up green when the heating element is in operation.

When the dehumidifier is turned off, the fan will always run for a few minutes to cool down.

HOURS

Button 13.

This button has two functions:

  1. Dehumidify for a certain number of hours

First press the “ON/OFF” button and then the “TIMER” button to set the number of hours you want the dehumidifier to work. While pressing the “TIMER” button, the display will show the number of hours you set (range: 0 – 24 hours).

When the set time is reached, the machine will automatically turn off. The timer mode light will illuminate.

DELAYED START

Without pressing the “ON/OFF” button, you can press the “TIMER” button. This will allow you to set the time for the dehumidifier to start. While pressing the “TIMER” button, the display will show the number of hours you set (range: 0 – 24 hours).

Example: If you press the timer button twice, the dehumidifier will automatically turn on 2 hours after you pressed the button.

IONIZATION

Button 14 .

In this mode, ionization is active. It can remove some odors and binds dust particles in the air.

DISPLAY

Indicator 2.
Displays an indication of the room humidity (35% ~ 95%). This may vary as the dehumidifier takes in new air. If the humidity is below 35%, it will still display “35”.

  • Displays the set humidity when you press the “HUMIDITY” button.
  • Displays the set countdown time setting when you press the “TIMER” button.

After 8 seconds of inactivity, the display returns to showing the room humidity.

FULL WATER TANK

Indicator 12.
The water tank full indicator flashes red when the water tank is full or when it is not placed in the correct position in the machine.

COLLECTION OF WATER

The dehumidifier has a built-in water tank into which the water will automatically drip.

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically turn off and the full tank indicator will light up on the control panel.

  1. Pull the water tank out of the machine.
  2. Pour the water out of the water tank.
NOTE: Make sure that the float and its associated magnet on top do not change position.
  3. Place the water tank back into the machine.

The dehumidifier will now restart with the same settings it was set to before the water tank was full.

DRAINAGE WITH HOSE

If you wish to drain the water, this can be done via the water outlet.
Make sure the hose has fallen all the way down to the drain or where the water collects.
